We’re thrilled to celebrate Will Grant, Master Pizzaiolo and proud Bacio customer, who has made history on the global stage!
Will, owner of Sourdough Willy’s Pizzeria in Kingston, WA, and That’s A Some Pizza on Bainbridge Island, was recently honored with the Premio Follie Lifetime Achievement Award at the Pizza World Cup in Rome — becoming the first American ever to receive this prestigious recognition.

For more than four decades, Will has dedicated his career to perfecting the art of sourdough pizza. What began as a family business on Bainbridge Island has grown into a legacy that’s earned international respect and even a place in Belgium’s World Heritage Sourdough Library. His sourdough starter — over 130 years old — continues to bring exceptional flavor and tradition to every pizza served at his restaurants.
Will’s influence extends far beyond his own kitchens. At this year’s Pizza World Cup, he also coached two teams to first-place victories, proving that great pizza is both an art and a shared passion.

As Will humbly put it, “To be recognized for a lifetime of dedication to pizza wasn’t done alone… My parents, the chefs I trained under, and every person I’ve worked with over the past 41 years made this possible.”
Please join us in congratulating Will on this incredible achievement and his lifelong commitment to the craft of pizza.
